Quartz Surfacing

Quartz is extremely hard with unmatched strength, radiance, clarity and depth. Quartz has a MOIIS hardness rating of 7 (on a scale of 10). It is one of the most varied of minerals, offering numerous types, colors and forms. Because of this, quartz is the main material used to creat Silistar slabs and tiles for vertical and horizontal surfacing applications.

Performance
Silistar offers superior durability and strength. It offers consistency in color and composition. It is dense, nonporous, and heat, scratch and stain resistant.It is extremely resistant to cracks, chips, dulling and abrasion. It requires minimal maintenance with no sealing or polishing. Silistar can be cut and installed to a customer's precise requirements.

300mm x 500mm (11.81" x 19.69"), 300mm x 600mm (11.81" x 23.62")
400mm x 400mm (15.75" x 15.75"), 400mm x 500mm (15.75" x 19.69")
500mm x 500mm (19.69" x 19.69), 500mm x 600mm (19.69" x 23.62")

Thickness: 12, 15, 20, 30mm

All tiles feature a 1mm beveled edge. Tiles less than 20mm thickness include backside grooves for easier installation setting.

Standard tolerances: Thickness: +/- 0.5mm, Size +/- 0.5mm, Flatness +/- 1mm/1m,
Seam cutting angle +/- 1%
